Vintage Beauties {Madisonville, La Photographer}

I had the pleasure of photographing these gorgeous and spunky girls a few weeks ago at their relatives house in Thibodeaux, La.  She had this lovely garden with an arbor, moss covered trees and rows of sugar cane behind her house!  It was the absolute perfect setting for their session.

I always suggest outfits to compliment the personality of the one being photographed.  Mom had bought these dresses for them and was wondering about what shoes to wear.  The girls chose their cowboy boots!  Country chic!  To complete the outfits, I had the perfect purple crown to match the purple dress she bought and a lovely cream floral and flower barrette to match the pink.

We were just wrapping up the session when the home owner brought us to this “tree cave”, where the last image was taken. The low light shining through the trees fell perfectly on the girls, I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this session! Well, except I happened to step on a poison ivy plant…  thanks to one of the little girls for pointing that out, as I had NO idea what one looked like.  Drove home and stashed those shoes in the garage!  I wasn’t taking any chances!
