I had a family want to a Fresh 48 newborn session at the hospital. I have never had the opportunity to photograph a newborn in the hospital before, but I am LOVING it and hope more families want a Fresh 48 hospital session!
Before we moved to Midland, I followed several Texas based photographers on Facebook and they all take bluebonnet pictures. After we moved here, I looked and saw that this particular flower is not native to our very hot West Texas climate, and is mainly located in wild fields on the eastern half of the state. Much to my surprise and delight, a house that we often pass had planted wildflowers outside their fence line. Included in these wildflowers was a patch of lovely Bluebonnet looking flowers! If I can’t have the real thing, these would be a wonderful substitute. I have been eying these flowers, trying to figure out the best time to go would be. My oldest daughter decided two nights ago was the night, so off we drove with a trike and little chair in hand!
This St Louis, MO wedding was held during one of the World Series games. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The ceremony and the couple were beautiful, but the last picture taken for the night was of all the guests waiting with bated breath as the Cards pull out a win! You certainly can’t tell this couple are huge Cardinal’s fans 🙂 They also had a St Louis Cards and St Louis Blues baseball caps as the grooms cake. Go Cards!
