Desert Rose {Styled Portraits – North Shore, La Photographer: taken in Midland TX}

Her middle name is Rose. The beauty in the middle of a barren desert.  As we leave our West Texas home and move onto new adventures in Louisiana, I wanted to bring beauty to the barren landscape that we have lived among the last few years.  There IS beauty in the desert.  The sunsets are to die for.  There is something special about the flat landscape that brings your eyes up to the sky and to the flowers that bloom on the cactus’s.  The flowers that eventually turn into prickly pear fruit (which I totally recommend you try!).
